Privacy will always win as long as common sense prevails.
Tech giants have defined the rules of engagement for Commerce SaaS vendors and the digital industry. Most of these giants and their followers have given users’ privacy little importance. Tagging, tracking and targeting are essential to their models and value, making customer surveillance common among commerce solutions and platforms.
It seems, however, that the law is beginning to catch up with the help of privacy activists, with meaningful initiatives that, through great effort, have surfaced privacy concerns across the industry.
